About The Wholesome Wanderers
A travelling and online holistic wellbeing practice
We’re Dannyelle and James Tansey, husband and wife, parents of four, travelling Australia full time in our bus and working both online and within the communities we move through.
The Wholesome Wanderers is the shared home of our therapeutic work, travelling life, family rhythms, unschooling journey, podcast and community connection. These are not separate parts of who we are. They shape a whole-person approach grounded in professional care, lived experience, creativity, embodiment, spirituality and the realities of everyday family life.
Dannyelle is a holistic art therapist, holistic counsellor and coach, meditation teacher and Reiki practitioner. She supports women through creative self-healing, whole-person exploration and embodied personal growth, creating spaces where clarity, self-trust and authentic expression can emerge.
James offers holistic counselling and coaching, meditation, yoga, massage and embodied wellbeing support. His work creates pathways into presence, reflection, movement, body awareness and receiving care.
Together, we primarily support women, especially mothers, while remaining aware of the relationships, home environment and family rhythms surrounding them. We do not believe a woman is responsible for fixing or carrying everyone else. We value shared responsibility, stronger connection, healthier rhythms and ways of living that support the wellbeing of the whole family.
Our life on the road is an ongoing practice of living our values, not a claim that we have perfected them. We continue learning, adapting and building a life shaped by presence, curiosity, connection and what genuinely matters.
